Soft #LBV #Port #Wine. Extremely dark purple. Coated sugary grape aromas, with some carmel glaze. Light/medium body with smooth texture. Grapey, plumy, rhubarb, raisin flavor. Quick. Opened 11/26/17 — 2 years ago

Marinated mushroom magic. Grapes and raisins, cassis berry, skateboard bushing and candied violets inform an incredibly soft nose. A very blackberry and black currant reduction comes as a surprise bonus with charcoal, black pepper soaked in dry pencil wood and grape skin. This is solid and complex. The finish is endlessly complex vs the common fare. Unexpected from such value port. #port #porto #lbv #dows #portuguesewine #fortified #privateports — 2 years ago

I know that LBV is just an illuminati plot to undermine the proletariat, but this one smells like a wet red rose in June growing amidst honeysuckle. It is seductive, sporting veinous, ripe cantaloupe and red hots. Tar and black cherry reduction with gum Arabic, red beer, grenadine and blackberry. Light on the pepper, but cuts through Stilton like propaganda through the will of the masses. Enjoy with ideologues! #porto #portovino #lbv #illuminati #fakenews #conspiracytheorywines #portugesewine — 3 years ago

#LBV Port, it's nearly the perfect after dinner libation. If you and your guests have just finished a few bottles of still wine and opening another bottle is not palatable. A bottle of port is a great way to end the evening, without the concern about whether the bottle is finished or not, easily recorked and stored in the pantry to be enjoyed over the next week or two. A little goes a long way! Dark and red fruits play nicely with the acid, keeping things lively. A brandied blackberry pie, dessert like! — 5 years ago
