Translucent red in colour and beautifully aetheric on the nose. Sappy, fresh, light cherries, a bit of cranberry, a whiff of tree bark and a bit of undergrowth. Very fresh & bright.
On the palate this is light, with very fine, feather light tannins, juicy acidity, fruity yet not sweet. Raspberries & wild strawberries galore with a savoury touch towards the finish.
Very light, perhaps a touch, too light, juicy, enticing. And very, very nice. — 2 years ago
No formal notes. Some dolcettos are fun loving, gum chewing kids; this is decidedly not, more like a middle aged professional going out for a joy ride. Which is to say: more emphasis on the black fruited, darker dimensions of this varietal. . Still more about the fruit & grip, absolutely feather like tannins if any, & joyful. — 4 months ago
Fantastic, had one in Fuengirola with fantastic Iberico feather. Soft is the word that comes to mind. Berries and tobacco. The 2018 can grow with age. — 2 years ago
Boysenberry and blueberry, some tannins, very rich. — 3 years ago
Hugely deep and expressive nose. Lemon, minerals, limestone. Lime zest and lime flesh. Lovely fresh and dried herbs. Super complex. Interesting note of chalkiness. Wow. That’s a 9.3/9.4 nose. Just sickness. Terrific palate. Superb concentration and freshness. Crunchy minerals. Superb texture and density but being nimble and light as a feather. Long, massively mineral finish. The minerality here is compelling. Really long. Wonderful wine and value. Terrific intensity. This is exactly the way a baby GG should be. Superb structure for short term aging but how can one resist? — 4 years ago

Bright and light as a feather, yet so much pressure, complexity and finesse. Gorgeous. — 8 days ago
