Crisp, dry, and fruity. — 6 months ago
Deep garnet; compelling nose of black fruits with violet, tobacco and mineral; palate is more black fruit and mineral, deep and juicy, finish is tannic and very long. Enjoyable tonight but if you’re young give is a decade or two. — 6 months ago
Crisp, nice acidity. White blend. Peaches, tangerine, honey suckle, Asian pear, little salty — a year ago
Was looking for a Pinot with a bit more structure and opened up this - man, this has evolved beautifully over the last 2y! Showing such finesse & elegance right now, the tannins so fine & smooth and the fruit shining. This is really a beauty to open up now.
Red berries with undergrowth, some tree bark, a hint of exotic spice & orange zest, maybe a whiff of dark cherry. So fresh, so juicy, so enticing!!
On the palate this sings! Impeccably balanced, with great depth & elegance.
Wow. This is quite profound and a stunner!

What you want in a true, Austrian Blaufränkisch. Great depth and balance from the nose to the finish. Wonderful. — 2 months ago
As previous, still an enticing bracing lively lovely white to ring in Year of the Horse at Cindy’s — 4 months ago
This bottle was opened several hours prior to dinner. The 2001 Riserva pours a deep garnet color with a near opaque core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe Morello cherry, red flowers, leather, black tea, and a lovely mix of cool and warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long, slightly savory and super complex. A textbook Brunello Riserva that leans on the more elegant side of the spectrum. A fabulous pairing with lombo di agnello. Drink now with patience through 2041. — 6 months ago
Created in 1981, Terre Alte is considered one of Italy's most prestigious white wines, blend of Friulano, Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon grapes, estate-grown at Rosazzo in the historic Terre Alte vineyards. Pale lemon yellow color with aromas of stone and tropical fruits and wonderful floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, peach and slight lemon citrus with honey floral notes and lively acidity. Smooth finish ending with fruit and sweet mineral notes. Very nice! — 2 years ago
Apple. Then lime/Lemon. Bitterness. The minerality/flint is the standout characteristic. Good Acid. Very easy to drink. Excellent wine. — 5 years ago

Very good. But at 160€ from the winery ex cellar when I was “vor Ort” (there) seriously expensive. Like a top shelf GC white burgundy. — 22 days ago
