La Côte des Monts Damnés Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc 2018

Last had this 10 months ago. I think it's on the decline since then. Grapefruit, melon, citrus. Lacking acidity, it's a bit flabby. That's not what I remember in the last bottle. Anyway, it's nice with some fresh caught walleye.

Seems logical. Haven’t had this one unfortunately but 18s there were mostly too ripe and fleshy to age. But many were fun in their youth! Walleye! Think I’ve had that only once (had to give a presentation in Sturgeon Bay) a few years ago.

Les Cornuds Vinsobres Grenache Blend 2011

Notes from memory after many months - just remember this was beautifully integrated and singing after 14 years. I’m a huge fan of this Rhône Négociant and producer; consistently excellent. #vinsobres — 7 months ago

Cru Bourgeois Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2019

Atherton Wine Imports 2026 tasting at République, Los Angeles. 2019 vintage. Medium-medium heavy bod. First third (of the palate) better than the last third. Makes promises and only partially keeps them. The 2018 had total follow-through. 3.18.26. — 2 months ago

Les Baronnes Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc

Not called Baroness anymore this mid level HB 2025 vintage is exploding out of the glass. Took a minute to get my bearings instead of restraint and editing it’s a full out cabaret of a wine with lively melon gooseberries and passion fruit on an edgy substrate of salinity and limestone. Went incredibly well with prosciutto and honeydew. Once I adjusted I found it magnificent. — 12 days ago

2021—too young, so somewhat unbalanced. Will save other bottles. — a month ago

Château d'Arcins

Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois Red Bordeaux Blend 2023

2023 vintage. A classic vintage, without the opulence of the 2022, and a bit more body than the 2021. — 2 months ago
