Vintage 2021 | Cuvée Les Survivantes | 50 Semillon 25 Sauvignon Blanc 25 Sauvignon Gris | vines between 50 and 70 years old | 6 months barrel aging | notes of melon, pear, Turkish delight, good concentration | paired with figs from my own garden and Serrano ham — 2 years ago
Very good white wine. Doesn't have that artificial taste some whites do. — 4 years ago
+1 hour decant(some fine/cloudy sediment). A striking dark purplish magenta with some bricking. On the nose: beautiful notes of blackberry/plum, currants, musky forest floor, pencil shavings, herbaceous, minty chocolate. Taste: lush, structured, smooth mouthcoating wine with blackberry/dark cherry, currants, earth, baking spice, and a metallic graphite long dry finish. YUM! Believe this was their last vintage...too bad — 2 months ago
