New grape for me, and new Broc for me. Love it! The nose is a bit green and underripe, but the fruit is amazing. Red currant, raspberry, black cherry, some strawberry, but damp and dark, then it turns dry. Great balance of fruitiness and dryness towards the end. Some tannins on the finish and subtly herbal, but not much. Pure dry fruit for quite a while. Comforting winter red. Lovely label. With pizza.
As with other Brocs, this doesn’t hold up so much on the second day. Drink fresh. — 13 days ago
NV. Enjoyed this same wine with dessert at Jaleo recently and it paired great again today at Bar Spero with the torrijas with pumpkin sauce and green walnuts. — 10 months ago
Crisp and refreshing low ABV (11.5%) foothills Mourvèdre, redfruits, excellent acidity, great hot summer day (100 degrees), medium-long finish, probably even better slightly chilled. — 4 months ago
2022. Vineyard: Fenaughty & Lightner Varietal: Counoise, Cinsault, Mourvédre, Grenache, Terret Noir. Light body, but lots of flavor. No funk, minimal tannins and enough acidity to pair great with sausage pasta and bagna cauda garlic bread. — a month ago
