Pete and Fiona brought this back from Carrefour in Spain, 4 for €22. Definitely buy if coming across when out there. — 9 months ago
Leave open at least one hour before consuming. Not amazing but just nice. Perhaps not worth $45 but this is a straightforward no-frills Burgundy that hits the right notes. Nice balance of fruit and acidity. The fruit is marked but not overwhelming. The acidity is a little strong but not marring. A good buy from a value appellation. — 21 days ago
The 2020 Nerello Mascalese Pirrera is delicate and coy in the glass, showing just nuances of rose and black cherry contrasted by dusty earth. Silky and refined, it washes across the palate with a pure blend of red and wild blueberry fruit. A mineral staining adds tension toward the close. It finishes structured and long with a citrus concentration to balance as tart raspberry and sage slowly taper off. Patience will be required to tame this structured Etna Rosso. My last bottle of this beauty (123/1000 in NYC). I gifted the others to friends :) Richly sumptuous as I remembered - deep dark fruits, vanilla and dry earthiness. Full and delicious. With a quick orecchiette in prosciutto, shallots, peppers, parmesan and lemon. — 4 months ago
Very bold style of Nerello! Great fruit, nice floral component, light tannin. This will only get better with some time in bottle. — 2 years ago
From magnum to share w a generous neighbor's smoked brisket. This wine shows Eduardo Garcia as a young wine making genius. Great quality raw materials, careful winemaking and a result that was sublime. In this wine Eduardo's education in Bordeaux can be tasted. Mineral, stony, savory, plum, confit dried fruits the list goes on, though, even in magnum, the wine doesn't. — 4 years ago

I am always curious to taste more Minnella
This wine is rich and mineral
It would go great with swordfish
Honestly not my style
I find it to horizontal
I prefer a bit more freshness and verticality
Although it is a wine that reveals the territory that comes from — 9 days ago
