Star bright pale straw. Inviting nose of yellow apples and white flowers. Light palate of yellow apples, honeysuckle, and a hint of flint. Medium plus acidity. Short finish. Classic Mosel Riesling in the Spätlese (as shipped to the US) style. Simple. Tasty. German. Riesling. Drink now. — 13 days ago
Sweet, full body, little acidity, litle aromatic. Great for someone who like sweet over dry — a day ago
Beautiful nose of green apples. Spice. Slate. Closed but promising. Wow. What a palate. OMG. Sweet, decadent, energetic and filigreed to the max. Stunning. Dense, so so pure. Amazing clarity. Complex and so elegant. Flavors of apple crisp, apple pie, slate and apricot. This is so good. Dangerously good. Nose as it airs gets more pointed and mineral. So good. Apple oil. Elite slate minerals. Elegant. Palate getting richer, more textured and honeyed. Icing on cake texture. So hedonistic. Just so good. — 21 days ago
NV - Greenish hued and very aromatic w/clearly defined & detailed ripe juicy peach, nectarine & apricot w/clover honey, wet stone, green & red apples. Dizzying array of gorgeous fruit interspersed w/petrol & minerals. Round soft silky lithe mingled w/jolty acidity, this did not have the RS I expected (minimal). There is undeniable elegance here. Nose has amazing Gardenia aromas, sweet honey, freshly milled white pepper and cold wax.
Palate has over-ripe cantaloupe, honey drizzle on green melon, (light) lemon/orange zest and juiced Clementine (faint). Light on the acidity and a bit long on the finish. Decanted 60m. (92-93 points, very nice)
Spectacular pairing to fried eggs (backyard egg factory paying its dues even in the cold of winter) over toasted couscous, softened garlic & red onion, fresh green onion and the star of the dish za'atar (I could eat this on cereal!). — 20 days ago
This was unbelievable! Slight petrol, great weight in the mouth. When cold, the pop of acid is subtle. When it warms pink grapefruit rind, lime oil, a ton of texture, beautiful weight in something that seems like it should be ethereal the finish seams all this together into a chiseled acid finish. — 15 days ago
