Les Charmois Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Chardonnay 2014

2022/11/22-23. The most developed of the 3 bottles I had, with some gold to the color and a touch of nuttiness on the nose. Still, it’s not too obtrusive (for my taste) and also blows off a bit. Rounded citrus fruit, cream and a bit of stone. Alkaline. A pretty good deal in this day and age for 8 year old Chardonnay from the slope... — 4 days ago

It’s likely that 2020 will be erased from history, go ahead and drink double your weight, free pass. 😉 nice wine.

Les Baudines Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay 2020

Fresh and approachable. Not much depth but good pairing with seafood. It has a grippy mineral finish that worked well with the slight spice in our meal. Narrow fruit profile. Solid burgundy Chardonnay. — 2 months ago

Santenay Hates Blanc 2014

2022/5/14 with poached pork tenderloin, etc. There’s a gentle creaminess developing alongside the lemon tart and smokier notes. On the palate, there’s good acid to start, along with a savory, salty character - the impression shifts more alkaline towards the finish. Oak is present but soft. — 6 months ago
