Dark rubi robe, nose of dark cherries, plum, top soil and asian spices. Dense and mineral in the mouth, medium bodied, very reserved and only showing its game after a couple of hours. This is a very classy grand cru that is accessible now after decanting but has lots of potential. Top stuff. — 5 months ago
Stunning soft tannins elegant fruit long finish opened up more and more over the past hour. Notes of wild rose earthy fruit and light bergamot into a subtle tobacco — 2 years ago
The 2020 Chambertin Grand Cru is clean and precise on the nose, with raspberry and wild strawberry, crushed stone and discreet sous-bois scents. This, again, unfolds wonderfully in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a gentle but insistent grip. It is more saline than Launay Horiot's Chambertin, with fine structure and a hint of spice towards the finish that has just a touch of piquancy. Bravo - this is a Chambertin from the top drawer. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, October 2024)

Slight dark ruby red. Strawberry, wild berry. Slight chalk and herbaceous. Gentle acidity and tannin even in Marsannay. Tracey Pete & fils Marsannay Rouge 21 @500/G(2000), domaine, 240901 — 6 months ago

2021 - very strong nose, wet straw, celery, a little bitterness in the finish — a year ago
Nice expressive nose with scents of red fruits, raspberries and cranberries in particular. The palate is gorgeous, fresh, elegant, very classy, pure and precise flavors, not the most powerful or dense but showing a nice texture and a decent length (at best) on the finish for the level. — 3 years ago
