Les Dames Huguettes Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits Pinot Noir 2019

So after the last wine I was obliged to open something else from the same appellation. Medium deep ruby , with quite wide light garnet rim . Quite fruit driven and aromatic , red currant , rose , wild strawberry , raspberry and just a touch of spice. On the palate this has the cool red fruits of the nose with red currant, raspberry and wild strawberry , well balanced alcohol with fresh acidity , rounded ripe tannins and good refreshing sweet red fruit finish . This is quite elegant and refreshing , well proportioned and well balanced. To drink now and over the next 5 years or so . I hope that after the last wine I am not being overly generous , but I think this showed very well , with really good elegance and freshness. — 6 days ago

Very nice Pinot. Good cherry notes and a little earthy. Paired well with a beef stew — a month ago

Always enjoy these wines, even young. Great balance of fruit and earth with a nice vein of acidity and a long finish. Quite enjoyable and an exceptional value. — 2 months ago

Dizy - Terres Rouges Extra Brut Rosé Champagne 2008

Almost bandol rose-like on the nose. Quite bright… light red cherry with a steeliness and salinity. Young. A little simple but with age may soften into something interesting — 4 months ago

Côte de Brouilly Gamay 2011

This aged Beaujolais is just gorgeous, crushed red berries, minerals, floral, great acidity, long, lingering finish, could easily evolve another 5 years in a cold cellar, truly an outstanding wine from a great Beaujolais vintage!! — a month ago
