Condrieu Viognier 2018

Not an appellation I visit very often, but a producer I love. Floral notes through the nose and palate. Sometimes I pause with Viognier because of the weight, but this is effortless and elegant. Absolutely love this. — 12 days ago

What a steal. The wine clearly says, “I’m from St Joe.” A case study in syrah balance. — 3 months ago

Vin de Pays des Collines Rhodaniennes Syrah 2018

Solid value for a high quality delineated northern Rhône Syrah bargain that still reflects slope and terroir. Would probably be better after several years (REALLY opened up best after three days). Tannins are well integrated already for such a young Syrah but the med+ acid should carry this. Good snag to try again in a decade to see how much life it has left beyond. — 7 months ago
