Nose on this bursts right out of the bottle. Big white stone fruit with nice a balance of mineral acidity. — 5 years ago
Nose of pineapple, lychee, chalk, slate, bourbon oakiness, dry, tart and acidic minerality, light bodied, slight saltiness with long finish. Opened up after close to 2 hours and was amazing in its expression. Further notes of plum and oak with greater depth and complexity — 5 years ago
Pale lemon color.
Aromas of soft citrus, flinty minerality.
Dry. Flavors of lime, saline, flint. Very mineral driven.

Surprisingly full body for a Sauvignon Blanc. Would drink it again.

2022 vintage. Some initial richness but that retreated quickly before the mineral onslaught that ended the palate war. This is the next step up ($45-$55) from the entry-level ($19-$24) Sancerre action. Did I (previously) mention that I loathe Sancerre? Toodles! 7.17.24. — 5 months ago
