This is just lovely…
Lemonzest, red apples, wet rocks. Delicate hints of ginger, candyshop and matchstick. Really like the balance of acidic freshness, some richness in the mid palate and citrus bitters in the very long and chalky dry finish.

Fruit is mostly gone (as expected) but this is still thrilling even this late in its life. Soy sauce and umami-laden nose and palate. While the wine leans quite savory it is still lifted and ethereal. A great learning experience. — 4 years ago

NOSE: strawberry … mint jelly … river stones … not much else.

TASTE: quite good. Strawberry, baking spices a little roasted veggie…leather … toasty wood, but no vanilla. Best pinot I’ve had in a long time (to be fair, I don’t drink a lot of Pinot). 91. — 4 years ago
