Bright Ruby color with aromas of red berry fruits, spice and floral notes, aged for 14 months in French oak. On the palate flavors of cherry and strawberry with spice, licorice and floral notes. Fine chewy tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, floral spice and slight earthy character. Nice! — a month ago

Incredibly fresh and moreish. At Hope Cove House where they know their natural wine and their cooking 👏🏼 — 4 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a couple of hours. The 2021 Classico pours a bright garnet color with a transparent core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose the wine is developing with beautiful notes of ripe Morello cherry, raspberry, tart forest strawberry’s, a whole bouquet of roses, hibiscus, saltwater taffy, tar, assorted green herbs, old wood and dry dusty earth. After about an hour or so, pomegranate enters the chat. On the palate, the wine is bone dry with high tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long. These are early days but I’m really excited to track how these evolve with time. Drink now through 2051. — 5 months ago

Quite light ruby , wide pink rim . Lots of tart red fruits , cranberry , raspberry , with fresh cut herbs and rose . On the palate this is very fresh with lots of red fruits and quite high refreshing acidity . Good fresh herbal crunchy cranberry, orange rind finish with lightly grippy tannins . Perfect now and over the next 5 years or so . At Osteria Giro de Vite, in Monchiero , a little place just outside of the Barolo region that is well worth visiting . — a month ago

Tame is the right word. This Barolo is moving out of its wild youth, but can still age some. Soft fruit and new leather, a little sage. Tannins are mellow, decanted for 2 hours. Paired with pork medallions in a basil cream sauce. Good pairing.

More in alignment with WS review: “Cherry, raspberry, violet and mineral aromas and flavors mark this perfumed red. Racy and elegant, with defining acidity. Persistent finish. Drink now through 2028. 3,300 cases made, 1,000 cases imported.” — Bruce Sanderson… Versus WE: “Like a garden at twilight, this Barbera lifts with violets and lavender before diving into a pool of plums and boysenberries, kissed by fresh herbs. The palate mirrors this purple-fruited dance with juicy precision. Give it a slight chill and watch it become the life of the party.” — Jeff Porter. — 5 months ago
love these, so bright. — a month ago
Nose was a little strange. Slightly muted with notes of dark fruits and earth but the palette was phenomenal and smooth. Sweet at first with a dry finish — 2 months ago
2021 vintage. Last tasted 1.9.25 (9.3). Did indeed pick up extra for the resto and down to 1-2 bottles left. PNP. Still beyond solid for the price. It you find this vintage retail and it is $50 or below, you'd better pick it up or I'll call the federales/gendarmes/polizia/po po myself. — 3 months ago
