The 2023 is a blend of 40% Barbera, 40% Dolcetto, 14% Montepulciano, 6% Sangiovese. @Delectable Wine not a pure Sangiovese. Still a delicious pizza wine, or in my case, Monday night pasta wine. Beautiful golden color. Aromas and flavors of honey, orange, apricot, creme brulee’, and tropical fruits. Not overly sweet and cloying. Quite exotic. Long finish. Delicate and silky texture. A unique expression of California “Sauternes-Style” wine. Very easy to drink. — 3 years ago
