1997 vintage. Good upper shoulder fill. Used a Durand. Solid cork. Decanted with respectable sed. Tasted after 1 hour decanted. Light-medium body. Bit of structure but not too much. An enduring, lingering chocolate note definitely ringing the bells on the finish. In a great spot currently and looks to stay as such for the next half-decade. 10.17.25. — 7 months ago

Vivacious and highly fragrant… this lovely Nebbiolo bursts out of the glass with rhubarb and raspberry and violets. A hint of baking spices, along with the funky wine label, lets you know this is a modern producer. Fortunately, only 6 months in used French barriques (down from 12+ months in previous vintages)… this is a modern producer I can enjoy. TotalWine. — 4 years ago

A perfect pairing with tonight's sausage pizza and lasagna. Took me a minute to figure out who makes this wine, as the producer's name is in the smallest print. Dusty cherries, plums, leather, basil, tea leaves at the end. Fair acidity and a very soft mouthfeel make this chianti a winner.
