Brut Classic Champagne Blend 2015

Medium lemon color, aromas of stone and citrus fruits with floral and yeasty notes. On the palate flavors of apple and pear with lemon citrus zest and floral notes. Fine bubbles, light mousse, medium finish ending with fruit, citrus and yeasty biscuit character. Pair this with shrimp cocktail. — 13 days ago

Amour de Deutz Millésime Brut Rosé Champagne 2013

Delectable Wine

The 2013 Brut Rosé Millésimé Amour de Deutz shows a bit more seriousness than the last time I tasted it, about two years ago. It remains a gracious, lifted Rosé, but time has amplified the mineral edge such that the 2013 today is quite nervy and brilliant, with little, if any, loss of freshness. Cranberry, mint, orange peel, white flowers and crushed rocks all race through to the intensely saline, sculpted finish. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, November 2023)

Cuvée William Deutz Millésimé Brut Champagne 2008

Medium straw colour . Fine , constant perlage . Brioche , confit lemon and jasmine, ginger notes . Fills out well on the palate with those candied lemon , brioche notes , lots of backbone and intensity . Mineral fresh acidity . Still quite young , so probably even better in 5 years and will last a further 5-10 years — 3 months ago

Laetitia Vineyard & Winery

Estate Arroyo Grande Valley Pinot Noir 2019

Founded by Deutz in -82. This PN is spicy as heck and packed with strawberries and raspberries, has moderate to high acid levels, somber oak profile and a long peppery finish. Interesting and unlike most other CA PNs I’ve tried. — 3 years ago

Brut Rosé Champagne

Ming L

Always like the fruit transparency in the bottling. Strawberry, raspberry, pink grapefruit and light yeast. The palate is vibrant yet soft, and a bit feminine, possibly because of comparison to the L-P rose.
A delight as usual. And very good value for around $50.

Explosive bubbles at the very onset, very vinous, bubbles deminishing fast. Nutty and oxidative. — 6 months ago

Brut Réserve Champagne Blend

This rarely disappoints and is, next to Deutz, Pol Roger and Henriot, my favourite go-to champagne.
Love the fresh red fruit with the creamy background and rich, round mouthfeel and the long lasting, tiny bubbles.
Such good sipping!

Delas Frères

Les Bessards Hermitage Syrah 2012

Founded over 160 years ago, Delas Frères was acquired by Champagne Deutz in 1977. 100% Syrah, aged 16 months in French oak (70% new), aromas of red berry fruits, blossom and complex spice. On the palate black raspberry, fig and black plum flavors, savory with dried herb pepper spice. Fine tannins, great mouthfeel, complex lingering ending with fruit, mineral, floral and spice character. Well balanced, outstanding. — 5 years ago
