Great wine - very good table wine. Lots of flavors! — 8 months ago
One of those unicorn wines. Just a unique wine made of blend of varietals. Mostly Cab but some Pinot in there too. 2003 gives it a brickish color. Gorgeous wine with lively fruit and good acidity; lingering on the palate. “Daumas Gassac apparently has a geological formation unique in the Languedoc: chalky, friable, poor in humus, the bits of earth ranging in size from mere grains of sand to little stones, a soil similar in aspect, similar in constitution, to that of the Côte d’Or and the Italian Friuli.” Excerpt from Adventures of The Wine Route. — a month ago

H & I don’t regularly drink a Rosé as we prefer drier wines; however as recommended by our neighborhood Liquor store we found it quite good - not as ‘sweet’ as some Rosé wines- and we enjoyed it ‘at home’ with my Chicken Parmesan & eggplant Parmesan — 4 months ago
The QPR across the Daumas lineup has always astounded me, & this rose sparkling is no different: fine mouse & a clean, detailed palate, all fresh cut strawberries. Nice balance too between dry & fruitiness,& just enough heft to carry this past a toast into a first course. — 2 years ago

This wine is golden colored in the glass. The nose is loaded with fruit. I find peach, pear, apple, and mango in the aroma profile, along with a hint of minerality and citrus. The palate is refreshingly acidic and shows apple, pear, lemon and lime flavors. I paired it with a ham and provolone sandwich and was glad I did. If you have some shrimp or crab that’s not doing anything, that should work even better. — 7 days ago
