Patz & Hall

Dutton Ranch Chardonnay 2021

Pale lemon color with aromas of ripe fruits, citrus, vanilla and nutty scents. On the palate complex flavors of apple, peach, pineapple and lemon citrus, well balanced with acidity on a nice mouthfeel. Long finish ending with oak, vanilla, mineral and citrus notes, will continue to age. A beautiful Chardonnay. Pair this with a stove top Swordfish topped with a celery, tomato and olive compote. — 9 hours ago

Pale yellow with pleasing aromas of citrus and tropical fruits, adding in spice and some biscuit notes. On the palate complex palate of flavors, fresh fruit, pineapple, lemon, grapefruit, peaches and Asian pears. Slight earthiness with a smooth and creamy well balanced finish ending with a gentle yeasty character. Very nice! Consistent quality! Will age well! — 2 months ago

Ramey Wine Cellars

Russian River Valley Chardonnay 2023

2023 vintage. Their entry-level Chard juice not too shabby. Slightly fleshy. Hints of tropicalia without boarding that ship with three suitcases and/or a trunk. Ajax-strength acidity to clean up any spills. Teases many possibilities but afraid of committing to any specific one. Still...less than $30 USD resto cost on two cases. Sold. 02.26.25. — 17 days ago

Winner of the night. Yes 14.1% but still good. Plumy nose. Tannins fully resolved. Drink!!! Up. Lime, spices, Hint blueberry, violets. Touch cherry 🍒. Quite amazing. Who would have thought. Because typically i prefer Burghs. — 20 days ago

Art Series Margaret River Chardonnay 2020

Elegant and still a little closed - it needed an hour to reveal its considerable depth of lemon, apple, flint, wet stone, friend lemon zest, candle wax. It’s just beginning to show hints of honey and hazelnut. Brilliant fresh acidity and long finish — 16 days ago

In double-blind tastings, I commonly call these as high quality white Burgundy, typically Chassagne-Montrachet. So good.
