Color of deep purple, with a slightly bloody tone. Nose of ripe dark berries, vanilla, crayon, and paint note. Taste is quite sweet yet polished, ripe berries, round tannins, juicy grapes, and a touch of medicinal note. Flavors are dense. Aftertaste shows some more peppery note, subtle acidity, zest, tobacco leaves, some oak, and some more tannins. Flavors outperform the nose. But overall pretty good. — 20 days ago

new zealand riesling from central otago. this is such a fun bottle.
super cloudy in the glass, dark and musty for a white wine. the bouquet is extraordinary. petrol, chamomile, melon, lemon rind. a really stunning nose that grows and grows on you
dry. the palate is a heavy dose of lemon rind with some mineral. very austere, but a magical long finish like a limoncello shot. one of the more memorable rieslings i’ve tried. — 10 days ago
