Very aromatic on the nose with yellow peach, apricot, chamomile, tangerine, and just a slight hint of petrol. Fuller than expected, the palate is quite textured with bright vivid acidity. There is subtle sweetness on the long finish.

Tryna get a few games in with the OG, my dad. Taught me to play when I was a kid, and still schools me to this day. At least I last longer than 3 moves now.
What a day. Quarantine’s got me doing two 5ks and two swims a day. To top it off, I’ve been writing like a madman. 3000 words this week. A good dent into the novel. Now onto this baddie.

Sweet saffron threads pluck at my olfactory senses. Definite peach roses, orange blossoms, lavender’s in there too.
Little too much apple and acidity, which end up overpowering a bit. Usually from FLX, I like the fresh, vibrant, bone dry honeysuckle, supple grass qualities.
I do like the limestone minerality. Just wish it was a bit more balanced.

Superb wine. Great blend of Riesling tropical character with earthiness. A steal when I found it on sale for $10 at Binnys. People don’t know what they are missing out on. A top NY Riesling which can stand with the best from anywhere in N America.

Aug 4th, 2019Great depth and nice focus - ripe pears and stone fruits give way to an almost chalky texture. Dry - a tiny bit of sweetness integrates everything together. Fantastic quality for the price.
