Silky tannins, full-bodied, earthy. Fabulous bouquet. Dark cherries, blackberries, cedar, sweet tobacco, and spice. Smooth satisfying finish. — 3 months ago
2014 vintage. Decanted and tasted multiple times at multiple temps from 30 mins open-3 hrs open and 45-60 degrees. Color somewhere between golden and Chartreuse yellow. Plenty of ripeness with remaining acidity crawling along the palate baseline. Do not see this improving but surmise it can hold steady at this mature Burgundy status for another 3-4 years. 02.22.25. — 5 months ago
An everyday pizza wine. Medium bodied and fruity but not overpowering. Cherry and violet. — 22 days ago
Blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot, second wine of Château Paveil de Luze, aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, 25% new, deep Ruby with aromas of red berry fruits and cedar pepper spice. On the palate flavors of black fruits, currants and spicy notes. Lively acidity, fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, cacao and spicy oak. Drinking well now! — 2 months ago
Moores 2024. $25. My favorite rose on the planet. — 2 months ago
One of the most “Ramonet” wines I’ve had in recent memory with its signature spearmint freshness on full display in its complex and layered aromatics. The palate shows both richness and tension with a spine of flinty minerality and racy citrusy acids. Perfect white burg! — 2 months ago
At Moore Brothers tasting of Piemonte with Fung and Mary 1/25/25. Unusual blend with fruit from high up by the foothills of Alps but microclimate warm enough for palm trees. A rather rich and round texture and wouldn’t have guessed Nebbiolo. — 5 months ago
Needs some time to open up, then black cherry and tar, lively and deep. — 8 months ago

2005: this wine is still a baby with bright red fruit predominating the nose! Really silky and fine. — 16 days ago
