Corison 2014

Merry Edwards

Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2014

Best Sauvignon Blanc. Love Merry Edward’s wines. This has notes of pineapple, peach and apple. Also a touch of honey. Nice acidity — 2 months ago

Marchesi Antinori

Tignanello Toscana Super Tuscan Blend 2014

Love the 14 vintage. Had the 13 vintage the night before and the 14 was a clear winner. Lovely fruit flavours — 2 years ago

Stag's Leap Wine Cellars

Artemis Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Deep ruby in color. Dark fruit (blackberry, plum), baking spice, vanilla, brown sugar, cedar, a floral note, and licorice that is on the medicinal side. Nondescript dark fruit, pepper, and some alcohol heat on the palate. Moderate acidity and silky tannins. Tart cherry and bitter cocoa on a lingering finish. — 3 years ago

Kosta Browne

Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2014

As always nothing not to like. Tons of big bright red fruit. Cola. Little bit of minerality/potting soil. Not that it’s usually a problem with Kosta Browne but drink right away. Was notably worse a few hours after opening. — a year ago

Belle Glos

Las Alturas Vineyard Pinot Noir 2014

Saved this gift for the holidays, my favorite Pinot Noir! — 3 years ago

Mollydooker Wines

The Boxer Shiraz 2014

Good but I’ve had this before and was thinking it was better previously. And why no cork? I like and want a cork for a $50 bottle. — 2 years ago

Kosta Browne

Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2014

55% new French oak really provides this wine with a lot of softness and flavor. Opens to a deep, rich and smoky mouthful. This is a chewy Pinot, packed with dark fruits, spice and well placed tannins. The lengthy finish will linger until the next sip. An extra few years of bottle age has treated this wine well. — 4 years ago
