Founded in 2007 by Morgan Twain-Peterson in a 550 square-foot, former chicken coop with 8 foot ceilings. After 6 years of being a one-man-show, Morgan asked his best friend, Chris Cottrell to join him. Dark fruit aromas with aromatic spice. On the palate blackberry and plum with licorice and pepper notes, firm tannins on lingering finish ending with smoky mineral tones. Nice!

Medium ruby red with some violet hues. Dark spices and fruits on the nose with a touch of earthiness and anise. Moderate tannins (6/10) and medium bodied. Layered on the palate with bramble berries, a touch savory, dark gravel and not overly jammy. A little bit of black pepper and packs it in mid palate. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2022.

Morgan calls this wine their business card. As the entry level to the lineup there is a lot to like. Vines avg 80+ yrs old and some mixed blacks blended in for complexity. Last years release, but still very young, spicy and still a little tannic. Needs time, but too high on value and deliciousness to wait.

This never disappoints! It's so easy to drink but just as enjoyable inhaling its aroma. Brambly fruit balanced well without harsh tannins or screaming acidity, but obvious more age will uncover so many layers.

Tasted Blind also at 9am. "Really Good zinfandel" The wine was not showing much but American oak for the first 10 minutes. Nailed the varietal eventually, acid was tricky and I think there is slight RS. Kept saying "this feels old world but the American oak and ripeness is bizarre". Lighter red fruit, not dark and heavy or anise and it has great acid. Way too young. Every Bedrock wine is great, you can't miss.

Fruit forward, dark juicy berries, peppery, smooth, building tannins.
