Wirz Vineyard Riesling 2019

Beautiful ripe notes of peach, apricot, pineapple. Dry, but not excruciating so... some nice ripe fruit sweetness that works with food. Turkish kabobs and rice pilaf with chicken, lamb, beef, and chicken. Long, juicy finish. I find most rieslings too sweet, but this was really balanced and 13.5 ABV. — 3 days ago

Old Vine Zinfandel 2018

Ripe, juicy, joyous....perfect with bbq chicken and Mac/cheese for a quick Monday night. Never my fav Bedrock, but a worthy dinner companion and smile/inducing. — a month ago

Orange Blossom Mandarin Wheat

It smells and tastes of mandarin, it’s lightly alcoholic, it’s a pleasant light wheat beer, lightly hopped, when it’s hot and you are dehydrated, which happens in the desert six months of the year, this is a better option than any sports drink. Sure, no electrolytes here, but it tastes a dang sight better than those sports ades. And orange blossoms? Very Arizona. Drink local — 2 days ago

Bedrock Vineyard Heritage Red Blend 2014

To me aging makes a positive difference with Bedrock wines. Nice and complex with woodsy notes, black fruits, licorice and more. Very enjoyable. — 11 days ago

Vineyard Under the Mountain Carignan 2015

Fruit juicy goodness. Dark, inky purple and nice acid/black fruit balance. Blackberry, goose berry, boysenberry...plenty of fruit but lively in the mouth and remarkably light on its feet. Round, soft tannins escort the wine on its finish. I used to recommend Cabernet to accompany that crusty, juicy medium rare filet... but this makes a brilliant case for carignan from a good producer and old vines. — a month ago

Lorenzo's Heritage Dry Creek Valley Red Blend

OMG was this good. Surprisingly accessible in its infancy. The wine is clear and light colored red with very mild tannins. Loaded with dark berries, both the sweet and acidic side. As it got a bit more air, the 65% Zin in the blend showed through with delicious jammy-ness. The rest of this shipment go in the cellar for a least a few years.. — 5 days ago

Monte Rosso Vineyard Zinfandel

Is this the best Zin vineyard in the world? I don’t know. Not much of a Zin drinking historically, but this may make me a convert. — 22 days ago
