Your grandmother lives in a far too cute rural cottage. You wake up in an antique timber cot, the house redolent with pot pourri. Mid morning sun pours through the broken screen door to an empty kitchen, where blackened steel pots are abundant, but no grandma. You push through the screen, to a wild, wild garden, overgrown with wildflowers, berries, citrus, tomato vines, and a cacophony of terracotta potted colour. Dinner with Roy Michelle Italian place. Red fruit floral notes. Light on its feet. Nice with veal and even fish. — 10 months ago

Good, typical Nebbiolo, slightly acid and alcohol forward? From Flatiron Wines. 07/23/24 — 4 months ago
Pretty down the middle Nebbiolo from a riper year. Nice overall with good dark fruit and classic Nebbiolo tar / leather but overall impression was a bit lighter than I expected - even with no decant. Nice enough with steaks at Keens but wouldn’t order again. — 6 months ago
Fresh leather. Brand new purse. Or baseball mitt. You get the idea. Go and buy it. — 3 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Blend of 38% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Franc, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Petit Verdot and 8% Other Red Grapes, deep Ruby color with aromas of dark fruits with herb and toasty oak notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry with smoke, tar and sweet herb spice. This is a full-bodied red that wraps thickly over the palate, showing rich density and concentration along the way. Fine tannins, long finish ending with ripe fruit and toasty earthy oak character. — 3 months ago
