Loooved this to end 63 Clinton meal. Interesting cause this was primarily chardonnay grape but was a dessert wine. Really toasty / leesy but acidic which went so well with the baked Alaska with orange inside — 4 years ago
Juicy yet still dry. Love the currant. Very unique. — 5 years ago
Very smooth and cherry forward. Ideal for warmer months! — 7 years ago
Bones Restaurant in ATL. With @Clinton Coe Left Bank BDX. Really nice bouquet of dark fruits. Tannins and acid were in balance after 3 hours of decanting. Drank along side 13 Silver Oak Alexander Valley and 12 La Jota Howell Mountain. All the wines were showing well with great company. 📈 — 8 years ago

I continue to enjoy 2006 CdPs. This one was a stunner. Not as funky as I thought it would be but the funk is still present. Not George Clinton style, but there. Dark plum and dusty black cherry on the nose with lots of earthy notes as well. I’m a really nice place now. I would not hesitate to drink up even though I’m confident this has another 5-10years left — 5 years ago
Clinton St wine shop, good spicy Malbec — 6 years ago
If George Clinton and Parliament were a wine, they’d be a bottle of this. Woah this was such a fun and funky bottle. First time to try a natural wine from Jura, and definitely not my last. Deep red fruit and earthy tones on the nose shifts to a super light bodied wine. Notes of rainier cherries, pink peppercorns, a beautiful earthiness. Each sip starts with a nice little spritz followed by an extremely smooth finish that allowed for this wine to work well with the majority of our meat courses. Edinburgh has a surprisingly terrific wine scene. Spectacular — 8 years ago

Pomegranate, blood orange rind, raspberry meringue, cranberry compote, barnyard, game, maitakes, white pepper, haystack, fresh thyme. Lively acid/minimal tannin balance, light bodied, juicy-satin texture, fruity-floral-earthy finish. A George Clinton amount of funk upon opening, gradually develops refinement/elegance after an hour while retaining its rusticity. One of a kind. — 8 years ago
Ventured out (more like kicked out for girl’s night + the bachelor) to have one of the best fried chicken sandwiches in the city (earned it, got a 5k and a lift in!).
Whilst in Bed-Stuy, I walked off the sando by way of hopping over to Clinton Hill, where Bar Meridian has one of the coolest build outs / continuous wrap-around bars I’ve seen to date + the chillest vibes.
Got me a glass of this pretty vanilla Trocken, . But with the atmosphere being just right, all else fades. — 3 years ago
At 63 Clinton - always love boillot but sooo expensive. Crisp with just enough oak, Burgundy >>>> — 4 years ago
I don’t inhale (didn’t Bill Clinton absolve himself with that line at some point)?
Anyway, when your crew are floating around, you need to play high post. A benchmark Cuban gets the job done.
Plumpjack Merlot rarely falls short, and this is no exception. Cedar notes combine with exotic spices, particularly nutmeg. Fig paste and bitter cocoa give way to expresso notes and judicious sweetness. Excellent presentation, just requires a touch more density. Otherwise, rock n roll right here. — 5 years ago
2015 Ancient Vine Teldeschi Vineyard Zinfandel
How this beautiful wine got only 90pts? I don't know.
This is one I want around all the time.
Violets on the nose and dark fruits on taste. Everything you would want in a pie*
Did I mention this is on the list at the F.L.? Shhh
Have to have this one with BBQ — 8 years ago
On a funk level, this is George Clinton and the P Funk(the king of funk). Dark ripe Rocks fruit. Really young but oh so good. — 8 years ago
Still high from @Jim Wagonfeld 's Northern Rhône / Sauternes Thanksgiving lovefest and not quite ready to go back to our workaday plonk, we dug into the cellar and opened this Lafon Mâcon-Bussières. It is a thing of beauty. Not especially complex, but buzzing with intelligence and acid. Nose is creamy Chardonnay, but subdued. Palate is lush, with an acidic finish that seemingly goes on forever. One imagines this as the "chardonnay" Hillary Clinton consoled herself with. Cold comfort, but it's the small things... — 9 years ago

2005 vintage. Last tasted 11.23.23 (9.4), 11.15.19 (9.4), 06.01.17 (9.5) Last bottle. Respectable, low neck fill. Used a Durand and excellent cork. Decanted with sticky (to the bottle) sediment and not that much floating loose to navigate. Tasted after 30 minutes. Those inimitable, sexy Cos stylings. Medium/medium heavy (still!?) bod. Richness. Ample fruit. Slight amount of aged George Clinton/Bootsy funk. Highly restrained tannins. Woah. This. Did. Not. Suck. Time to reorder. 9.13.25. — 9 months ago
