50th Anniversary Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Wonderful. I really enjoyed this. Nice slightly sweet start with a smooth finish.

We recently had this by the glass at Peaks, NYC. We enjoyed it so much that we bought a few bottles. While I consider this to be a “construction site,” I respect what the Wagner’s have accomplished. Not gonna bother with tasting notes as this is just a cherry compote fruit bomb. Tasted using a coravin as a few glasses represents a meal on its own.

Of course, Caymus is always reliable. This 50th anniversary is almost as good as the 40th anniversary.

Very, very good. We all commented about how smooth this was.

12/25/24 with rib eye roast Christmas dinner. Great smooth and fruity flavor. Yum.

Fruit and spice, nice.

Thoroughly enjoyed as it's smooth, sweet, but not overly and would do well with cutting through rich flavors.

Outshined by the Talbott Pinot and lacked some general cab characteristics with a sweet berry pallet that’s hard to dislike but definitely different
