Big boy MAGNUS big like a freakin' baseball bat. Big like 13% ABV and 1,000 volts of electricity in silvery gray green shades. Hovers indecisively for a second, then settles into intense sour citrus.
Delicate soft aromas of grapefruit, lime leaf and sage become crazy intense with tip of tongue acid, thick edges that suck your cheeks in tight. — 5 months ago
I have been searching for this wine. It was with the hunt. Tart spring berries and a little salt at the finish. Now to find the Puszta Libre!! — 23 days ago
Nose: elite peach flower. Exquisite.
Palate: why but lovely. Mountain stream infused with peaches. Elegnat.

In the zone. This is drinking so well. Nose is divine. Elegant liquid minerals, white cherries and also rainer cherries and a dollop of apricot. Palate is juicy and mineral with almost no fruit and a slathering of minerals that just assault your palate. Just a wonderful wine. Nose develops a hint of orange zest now with air. Not elegant and not that long but what it lacks in charm and length it makes up for in intensity and flavor authority. — 8 months ago
Showing very young with notes of lemon, porphyry, some florals but faint and barely ripe apricot. Some confectionary comes through as well. Tightly coiled on the palate but has terrific freshness and just insane acidity. Electricity. Tactile impression of minerals and faint fruit on the backend which dissipated gorgeously. So pure and so sappy. Exceptionally long. Needs to open a lot. But 9.5 for now. Getting more confectionery on the nose after some air. More elegance as well. But fiercely mineral. Almost no fruit. A contrast to last time I had this. — 2 years ago
Very mineralic at first. Blueberry's, pepper and a very mouthwatering acidity. With some air the fruity es will grow stronger, remarkably strong but never like jam. Always light, funky and with a touch of pepper and a hint of leather. A Zweigelt to remember. — a month ago
The best wine in the Schneider lineup in 2021. Unreal nose of minerals, cotton candy, wet earth and pungent crushed rocks. Apricot and peach. Red apple skins, gobstopper and some funk. Love the diversity of aroma here. Palate is juicy, pure and opulent and such killer acids. All minerals on the palate and a fun dip white stick texture and flavor. Concentrated and intense with great structure. Such a juicy wine and with a lingering finish. — 3 months ago

carmen
austrian pinot noir?
it smells sweet. it tastes tannic, sour, slightly funky. it has notes of black cherry, raspberry, vanilla and oak. this is an easy chillable red to drink.
i paired with pad thai. the juicy tannic flavors cut through the rich nuttiness of the pad thai. — 19 days ago
