Yep, Cab from South Africa, uniquely dry to me — 5 years ago

Drink this when your passport is stolen and the only Italian restaurant that’s open is serving it, for less than $20 a bottle somehow, and it turns out to be, under these and any circumstance, criminally good. — 6 years ago
Discovered this gem on a trip to California. Full bodied fruit and a bright, uncharacteristic acidity for its body - it comes close to what I would describe as "plush" and/or "unctuous" for an exotic white. Perfect for casual quaffing under any circumstance. — 7 years ago
Wonderful flavours of kiwi fruit, sage and tarragon. Perfect pairing with roast chicken. — 9 years ago
Lovely black fruit, some pepper and a little bit of oak. Cheap and cheerful South African Syrah. — 9 years ago
Great rose. Slightly sweet for a Mourvedre rose but has the slight acidic finish. — 10 years ago
Extremely nice, we had the 2016, this better — 4 years ago

This is still a baby. That’s Ted it initially at the RS tasting a few weeks back and wanted to see what the bottle would be like in a diff circumstance. Ample fruit and beautiful balance between acidity and tannins. This has the makings a of a great bottle—already delicious but full of so much potential. I’m gonna wait at least 5yrs on these. — 5 years ago
This had all the characteristics you like in a good jumilla without the pomp and circumstance of a fancy bodega. 36/25/20/19 monastrell/cab/Syrah/verdot. Rounded fruit, dash of cocoa powder, plum, and deep red cherry w a touch of white pepper and a really nice wash of tannins. Popped w some slightly spicy food. — 7 years ago
Not because of content, but because of circumstance... the best prosecco I've ever had. #anthonyslaststand — 9 years ago
Rich, generous, structured — 10 years ago
and a point of view—that grows with circumstance—or just good chardonnay on a sunday afternoon?
@domainemikulski isn’t your average bourgogne blanc, and of all the burgundy we got to taste at @gunterseegerny, the ‘11 meursault charmes stands out. this isn’t that—entry level, fraction of the price, young—but its elegance, concentration, richness, and hi-fi overtones speak the same vernacular, same “extraordinary gift for hope,” that nick said of gatsby. — 6 years ago
Tastes exactly like Lost Sailor / Saint of Circumstance (Live at Nassau Coliseum, Uniondale, NY - 10/31/1979) — 7 years ago
Strong yet balanced fruits, leading with plums. Smooth tannins, and seems easy on the head. Nice lunch surprise today at lunch. — 7 years ago
Drinkable for anyone in any circumstance. Just lovely — 9 years ago
S.S. Mandani
Pine needles, licorice, grass.
Nice acidity, between the two Rieslings I picked up, I prefer the Forge reserve. It had a bit more personality. I hate comparing two wines side by side, but it’s just the circumstance.
Still, pretty solid everyday wine. — 3 years ago
