Peppery Malbec that wasn’t as strong as most. Went well with stew. — 2 days ago
Our favorite Napa Cab- big, elegant. Lots of jammy fruit. Cedar & tobacco in nose. Merry Christmas! — a month ago
Really interesting Pinot. This wine is very young and should age very well. Deep ruby color lots of fruit and a lot more tannins. When I opened the bottle the tannins were over bearing and had a grassy aftertaste. When I tasted the same bottle the next day it was FAR more balanced. The fruit was still great but the tannins were much softer and well balanced. This wine can hold up to more cellar time but if I had decanted it would have been better. While this wine was pretty pricey ($100), I think it is worth it! — 20 days ago

Fantastic. Enjoyed our last bottle of a case of 2013 on Christmas Eve. Sad it's gone. — 23 days ago
So delish! Beautiful and holding strong with notes of blackberry, black currant, clove, star anise, licorice, dried orange peel, black olive, potpourri, tobacco, leather, earth, cured meat, pencil shavings, graphite, spice box, forest floor. Complex and balanced with a long, elegant finish. — 21 days ago
Excellent, rich, slightly oakey — 11 days ago
12/24 beautiful car. 2011. $45. It was 100 % cab. Blended from various Vineyard lots. It stayed in the caravan for seven days and softened into a very well balanced California cab hi marks 89. — a month ago

Medium viscosity; dark, glass-painter. Warm cherries in black and deep red with brownie and tiramisu notes. Nano star anise, black pepper, and tea. These on the nose. Sublime mouthfeel showcases the blackberry, black currant, boysenberry, coffe and sweet tobacco notes that rotate into a persistent resonance.
