Light ruby colour. Complex nose at first, Burgundian, dominated by raspberry, and white pepper, also evolved vegetal notes, ferrous, undergrowth, etc. many evocations but all in finesse. After two hours of aeration, the wine is finally in place and the finish finally unfolds between raspberry, pepper and undergrowth. Light but chewy. One of my favourite styles!
Robe rubis légère. Nez complexe à l’abord, bourguignon, dominé par la framboise, et le poivre blanc, également des notes évoluées végétales, ferreux, sous-bois, etc. de nombreuses évocations mais tout en finesse. Après deux heures d’aération le vin est enfin en place et la finale se déploie enfin entre framboise, poivre et sous-bois. Léger mais avec de la matière à mâcher. Vintage 1997 | Tasted blind, after unwrapping I saw it stood next to Moulin Touchais. A unique opportunity to taste the two next to each other. This is true to type Chenin Blanc, with a beautiful smell that consist of Turkish Fruit, hay, honey, impressions of ananas and tangerines. Awesome balance, very vibrant and elegance. I adore this wine. Dutch bottling. 25 years old without signs of becoming too old. — 3 years ago

This white Bordeaux wine has a subdued nose, but traces of stone fruit and citrus do come through the mineral curtain. The palate is also laced with minerals and citrus, with a nice touch of salinity to add to the waterside connotation of the region’s name. The acidity is fresh and zippy enough for a salad, some vegetables or a seafood dish. — 4 years ago

lovely floral(honeysuckle), fruity (pear 🍎and apricot) with a perfect touch of 🌳.
48 hours later it became so much better!

Damn! It opened up with liquorice (sic.) and had just everything else in it. Mushrooms, turned earth, a touch of burnt honey and finally hiding just a hint of caramelized pineapple that lingers till the end. Sweetness only shows up for the grand finale in an jaw dropping show if how of how 95 g/l looks after 40 years — a month ago
