I like this wine, it’s a very good burgundian pinot fix. The nose shows cherry juice, raspberry, earthy notes, black tea, a bit of toast and smoke, too. The palate is surpringly broad and thick, with cherry and raspberry notes all along, it's quite ripe and fruity. There is some tannins in the rear and a long and deliciously fruity finish, that goes on for a very long while, with a nice tanginess in the rear that is reminiscent of fresh raspberries. It's not super typical, it's rather modern and ripe but I love it. — 7 months ago
Delicate & nuanced, like Pinot noir. Chicken or pork chop, not red meat, wine. — 4 years ago
Note this is a Sancerre rosé made from Pinot noir and not a white Sancerre. Beautiful, floral, white peaches and strawberries. Excellent acidity. A wonderful rosé. — 2 months ago
