2015 vintage. 37,5 cl bottle. Golden colour. Intense perfume with caramel, roasted nuts, dried pineapple and orange peel. The idea is a more accessible style of Sauternes that could work as an aperitif, but after 10 years, this has beautifully evolved into something more complex and rich, while refreshing acidity keeps the sweetness in check. Closed fruity/ mineral nose. Palate at first closed, even dilute; then stronger white fruit, good acid, sturdy minerals; improves after an hour. Then fruit (citrus/ stone fruit/ star fruit) and saline minerals; finishes with star fruit, a bit of oak, a hint of anise. Might expect more development in a few years. — 3 years ago
