One of those times they can’t claim to be a professional and just describe what I’m saying. Unfiltered, the wine is cloudy intention because it definitely affects the taste. You just get a bit of Dusty greediness in the flavor and while the smell is pure and clean crisp. The taste has a bit of exposure you gonna have to chew what’s going on. Lemon curd, waxy, unripe peach, some greedy dust from you not washing your fruits before you eat them. The acidity is there, but with the unfiltered nitrate seems like it doesn’t fully express the structure but it’s interesting because I haven’t had a wine like this so I don’t really know what I’m talking about. It seems like it’s a tight wine at the same time. There’s something in there that just makes it linger and chew and coat your tongue. Really enjoyed it completely.  — 2 months ago

Cute flower tall bottle. Color is pure pink. True rosé. Smells like mineral water infused with berry essence. Flavors are juicy and bright. Faint strawberry, melon side, slight citrus. And grapes. Hint of grape juice without sugars. This is dope rosé. Good for all day or that special day. Nice pairing with taco salads. — 3 years ago

First Syrah Argentina ... the color is typical of the grape variety, dense purple. Nose of small black fruits (blueberry, blackcurrant), violet and sweet spices. On the palate: the attack is fresh and greedy, medium body nourished by aromas of aging inevitably evoking the Rhône-Nord. The finish is rather straightforward, 2015 is balanced now !

Première Syrah Argentine... la robe est typique du cépages, violine dense. Nez sur les petits fruits noirs (myrtille, cassis) violette et épices douce. En bouche: l’attaque est fraîche et gourmande, corpulence moyenne nourri d’arômes d’élevages évoquant immanquablement le Rhône-Nord. La finale est plutôt franche, 2015 est équilibré et prêt à boire — 6 years ago

Opacité rare, qui fait penser au jus de raisin commercial. Au nez, fruits écrasés et poivre. Au goût, attaque très douce, éclatement de fruits très mûrs en milieu de bouche (cerise noire, pruneau, voire bleuets écrasés) à l’onctuosité surprenante, “épaisse”, finale tannique mais sans agressivité et non rugueuse. On sent le climat chaud dans les fruits mûrs, prêts à éclater, sans goûter nécessairement le 13,5%. Très surprenant pour un vin aussi abordable. Right q/p ratio on this champagne with notes of green apple, citrus peel, light brioche... fine bubbles. Mineral finish on a relatively mild but persistent acidity.

We all know Malbec right… however have you ever tried Bonarda (also known as Douce Noir) from Argentina? It’s lesser known than Malbec however it’s Argentina’s 2nd most widely planted red grape.

We picked this one up from Good Pair Days and also made the matching Mustard Stuffed Chicken to go with it 🫶

Ruby red colour in the glass with hints of red liquorice, cherries, plums, raspberries and a sprinkling of spice on the nose. In the mouth it’s juicy, fruity and a whole lot of fun 🥳

Charbono aka Bonarda or Douce Noir. This particular one is from Paso Robles AVA with notes of plum sauce, cherry, cardamom, fig paste, and graphite. Quite interesting to taste. Medium plus body and tannins with low acidity and alcohol. A smooth and flavorful wine. — 7 years ago
