Belle pureté, fruits croquants, framboises, fraise, la finesse, longue finale — 4 years ago
Quintessential Beaune. Quite young, but already showing some soft edges. Cherry notes combine with cinnamon and a hint of nutmeg. This is not for the long haul, but is presenting well right now. Finishes dry, so in my mind, this requires food - Nougatine at Jean Georges. — 5 years ago

The 2015 BDX continue to amaze and this Fronsac fits the bill. No decanting necessary. Jumping out of the bottle with beautiful red fruit and cassis notes, silky, and nicely balanced and integrated tannins, at such a young age, I am amazed. Feels like drinking a Grand Cru from a slightly lesser vintage. Great value too. If I can find it, I’ll buy a case. Hopefully two. — 6 years ago

2022 vintage. Mainly Merlot (92%) with Cabernet Franc. Finding good Pomerol under 30 euro a bottle isn't an easy task, but this is a good example. Seductive nose after 15 minutes in the glass with strawberry jam, flowers and subtle spices. The high alcohol (15% abv.) is well integrated. Smooth and round, without the complexity of the best, but a pleasure to drink and good value indeed. 52000 bottles produced with a yield of 39 HL/ hectare. Aged 12 months in oak barrels, 49% new. Mechanical harvest with manual sorting. Claire Moueix is in charge since 2013. Abv. 15.% — a month ago
