This I opened a few days back the 2021 Berger Lower Austria Grüner Veltliner from Gedersdorf, Austria.
On the nose was lime, green beans, white pepper, herbaceous notes, minerality and wet rock.
On the palate there is lime, gooseberry, grapefruit, minerality and wet rock.
This wine is medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel medium + to high acidity that follows with a long refreshing citrus lime and wet rock finish. This come in a 1 liter bottle which I found very enjoyable. I hope your weekend has been a joyous one and your week ahead is smooth. Please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂 — 2 years ago

Wonderful to pair with guancia. Dark cherry, fruit forward. Nice Lagrein riserva. Glad we live here to pick up more! — 8 months ago

This is actually a Chardonnay but one of the best chardonnays I’ve had — a year ago

Vintage 2014 | a smell to die for, with recollection of a beautiful Brunello: refined, delicate, multi layered. Tobacco, vanilla, red fruit. Colour as cola and yes, a taste that has tertiary elements. Paired with tunafish and zucchini tarts. Dutch private Berger bottling. — a day ago
