Domaine des Petits Quarts Chenin Blanc 1985

Vintage 1985 / Twentieth century sunshine and honey in a bottle #cheninblanc When you travel in Anjou nothing seems special in that tiny Bonnezeaux, but boy... they are making awesome wines here. Cellar for at least ten years. — 8 days ago

Angus McLean Chenin Blanc 2017

Had this #southafrica #cheninblanc at a BYOB seafood restaurant. It likes to be really well chilled. Green apple, lime and steely aromas, not super dry but a nice wine to pair with cold-water oysters, fish and chips.

Les 3 Demoiselles Coteaux de l'Aubance Chenin Blanc 1997

Vintage 1997 / Gem from my own cellar 🙂 J’adore J’adore J’adore #cheninblanc #coteauxdelaubance Pure nectar. Amazing mahony colour almost brown (ai ai I thought) but awesome fresh! Chenin is really amazing. Turkish delight and honey. Perfect balance. If God exists He has something to do with these wines, I am sure. Deep bow for MR. Richou in Mozé sur Louet. Terrific wine. /Partnered it with Blue d’Auvergne and Shropshire Blue. — 3 months ago

Coup de Fougue Vouvray Chenin Blanc 2016

Sec...and a good one. Ripe melon, wildflowers, pixy stix. Fine structure and length; well-done for such a tough year. #vouvray #cheninblanc — 2 months ago

Quarts de Chaume Grand Cru Moelleux Chenin Blanc 2003

Deep, amber colour. Clean and pronounced aromas of stewed apricot, caramel, fig, linden flower and golden raisin. Palette follows with raisins, a subtle nuttiness with a superb balance of sugar and acid. Would be fantastic if paired with creme brûlée! #cheninblanc #loirevalley — a month ago

Les Bonnes Blanches Anjou Chenin Blanc 2015

Vintage 2015 / vieilles vignes vines from #cheninblanc on schist. Amazing smell. Pear, apricot, tropical fruit. And green spices: coriander, hint of parsley. Also an impression of honey. Good acidity. Well balanced. Good effort of Agnès and René Mosse. From #anjou but #vindefrance. Partnered it with red gurnard and a tomatosauce, then with cheeses. — 3 months ago
