100% Chenin Blanc; Anjou AOC (Saint-Jean-des-Mauvrets)
Nose of dry limestone, honey, beeswax and dried apricots.
Palate has chalky apricot, peach skin, nice acid balance and medium finish.
$14, QPR is just a crazy value play!

Vintage 2013 - at auberge tresorbelge in Pouancay this is a wine I wanted to taste and now I can cancel it from my bucketlist to drink to a list 'wanted', a Belgian winemaker with lots of passion Eddy Oosterlinck did very well in this difficult vintage. Le Clos is the result of two passes during harvest between 8th and 21th October in a vineyard on slate soil. Creamy nose, sharp, harmonious taste, went well with Belgian Potjesvlees. #anjoublanc #loveit — 4 years ago
