I like a shit-ton of acid in my Chenin, and this manages to provide that along side the rich orchard fruit and fresh honeycomb typical of Anjou. Throw in a heaping helping of minerality wrapped in wisps of smoke and you've got something that pushes all my buttons. Damn this is good, and so, so young.

Gorgeous nose. This is Chenin for white burgundy drinkers. More Guibertau than Anjou. Nice to see this in Anjou. Gorgeous nose. Very mineral, very spicey, sliced white almonds. Quince, honeycomb. Flowers. Smells like 1er Cru Chassagne Of Chenin. Tastes like that too. Stunning. Hypnotic. Lemon lime, grilled nuts. So Chenin, no oxidation, tons of aromatic depth. Layered and ethereal. Palate is so lithe yet stuffed. Wow. What energy and precision. Such lean structure and focused like a laser. So concentrated and long. My god this is long. Stunningly pure. A revelation. The finish lingers for minutes. Terrific structure purity and balance. Just world class wine and amazingly unique and delicious. Never had an Anjou Blanc this good. I prefer over Richard Leroy. This is more my style. Full of acid and energy. So vibrant. So refined and so young. What a wine.
