Niederosterreich Zweigelt

Nice table wine that’s not pure fruit; there’s enough acid and a little tannin here that makes it a good table wine for all seasons and most meals. Only complaint is that it lacked a little freshness, but that could be because it’s been sitting on the market shelf for a few years.

Lighter bodied, red fruit & berry, slight baking spice a hint of earthy, med acid & tannin, bright & friendly, some Gamay-like qualities.

Great acidity. Pleasantly surprised.
