Vintage 2009 - Dutch bottling by Roel Berger Roermond - Navarra from tempranillo, cabernet sauvignon and merlot - vieilli en fut chêne - this wine is tremendously juicy, spicy and fruity. Cherries in smell, also leather, chocolate impression, and a spicy taste. I love this frivolous wine, it gives enormous hapinness. #tempranillo #merlot #cabernetsauvignon #navarra #spain #dutchbottling With steak and mushrooms. — 9 years ago

This I opened a few days back the 2021 Berger Lower Austria Grüner Veltliner from Gedersdorf, Austria.
On the nose was lime, green beans, white pepper, herbaceous notes, minerality and wet rock.
On the palate there is lime, gooseberry, grapefruit, minerality and wet rock.
This wine is medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel medium + to high acidity that follows with a long refreshing citrus lime and wet rock finish. This come in a 1 liter bottle which I found very enjoyable. I hope your weekend has been a joyous one and your week ahead is smooth. Please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂 — 3 years ago
Starts with fragrant Austrian cherries 🍒 and hint of Madagascar vanilla to boot! A light to medium body along with a refined sweetness at the end. Supple, ripe and a detectable wine to share with those you love most! — 6 years ago

On the Lawn at Tanglewood this afternoon with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Our conductor Andris Nelsons is leading GERSHWIN (Piano Concerto in F), GERSHWIN (Variations on “I Got Rhythm,” for piano and orchestra) and STRAVINSKY (Petrushka) with the amazing Jean-Yves Thibaude as the piano soloist on the two first works presented today. Jean-Yves is by far among our favorite pianists to grace the Koussevitzky Shed stage, so graceful, yet poignant!
Hot days call for cool wines, today there are some fun ones planned for sharing.
Nose has crazy apricot flesh, orange blossom, grapefruit zest and pineapple.
Palate has pleasurable acidity with citrus bias, sweet impressions but dry finish, glass coating viscosity. — 7 years ago
