Classy Barolo. Dry, pretty floral notes. Half bottle, @ Majorelle w/ Sayer and Dana. — 6 months ago
What a pretty wine. Gorgeous and grapey nose, spice, white pepper, jelly donut filling, and just so clean and vivid. Cesare has the touch. Palate is lush and juicy, with gorgeous fruit and such a subtle way about it. Really fine tannins and such incredible balance and delicacy. Such a sneaky persistent finish. This is so refined. I am blown away. What a wine. — a year ago
bold dry a little spicy but still guzzle worthy. this is a review for the barbera d’alba — 15 days ago
After sending back an oxidized, tired 2020 Rossi di Montalcino, the Somm had the waiter bring back this wine at around the same price point. Don’t sleep on #barberadalba from a great producer. Raspberry, plum, dusty dark fruit nose. So vibrant on the palate with lush yet tangy dark red fruit on the entry, gossamer tannins on the finish. Corking it after dinner and after the next day in the wine fridge still as alive. — 4 months ago

Very smooth tannins and slightly earthy aromas from this very drinkable Barbaresco, 100% nebbiolo. Definitely some aging potential. — 2 months ago

“Please don’t call it regular”…. more bricking than expected at 10 years old. But tasted fresh. An hour decant helped. — 18 days ago
