— 6 months ago

Very light tasting wine, local grapes, extremely good and long finish. Deep bright scent, such a lasting flavour. Lots of deep legs around glass — 5 years ago
First wintery Sunday with depressing cold drizzle. My response: home cooked Pasta Fagiole with soft Japanese yeast bread with lots of butter. What a wonderful comfort food match. The Etna Nero d’avola is young, juicy, and fruit-forward. Cassis, Boysenberry, and bright citrus notes. Medium weight, nice viscosity, and enough acidity to stand up to the tomato’s and good olive oil drizzle. Touch of green stems actually balances the fruit. Nice long finish and makes me consider picking up a few more for rustic pizza/pasta. — 6 years ago

Another straggler that aged better than expected. Medium bodied with red fruity notes still present balanced by earthy acidic palate — 5 months ago
The 2021 Grillo seduces with its sweetly floral and green citrus tinged bouquet, as crushed rocks give way to honeysuckle and lemon custard. A core of sour lime and melon tones add contrast. The palate is left reeling with mouthwatering tension and a lingering minty herbal streak. $19.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, June 2022) — 4 years ago
Came across a little flat even after 2.5 hour decant — 5 years ago
Nice Sicilian insolia. Lovely citrus on the palate. 2018 vintage in August 2020. Pared well with lasagna. Great wine to sip in summer. — 6 years ago

Nice red on the fruity side. — 6 months ago
Better than it was just a few months ago, which was right after bottling. Crushed raspberry and steel. Good acidity, low tannin but still substantial. Perfect burger wine! Chicken cordon bleu too! — 4 years ago

Goes really well with sesame chicken and noodles. Would probably go well with many chicken dishes. Light, not tannic/acidic. — 5 years ago
Amazing natural sparkling red — 6 years ago
