Leather, robusta coffee and dark berry notes. Black pepper, chocolate, and boiled eggs(??!!) on the palate. I had a glass of this wine last night and I was fortunate to find the bottle today. I never thought of cab franc from Italy 🇮🇹. Good surprise. — 7 years ago

Straw green. Delicate herbs, lime and floral aromas on the enticing nose. Then clean fresh and juicy, with outstanding inner-mouth perfume to the ripe pomaceous orchard fruit flavors. Finishes long with a whisper of pear, minerals, sweet spices and noteworthy clarity. A knockout Friulano. (Ian D'Agata, Vinous, May 2018) — 8 years ago
This aged a lot better than I thought it would. From a magnum. Lots of ripe fruit almost raisiny. — 9 years ago

A very delicious Italian white. Much better after a long decant. @Delectable Wine this is the Marche Trebbiano thanks! — 3 years ago
100% carmenere. Unexpectedly nice. Liked the balance of tanines - feels light and smooth. Fruity, but not too much. Blueberries as a first note. Pleasing experience. — 4 years ago
A well made version of vermentino.
Nose is aromatic lemon extract. Very fresh and clean. Very Italian. Some richness as it opens.
Palate is nicely mineral and balanced. Light gods lemon soda. Very sprightly on the palate. A hint of lemon pith. Richer as it opens. Great acidic balance.
Something in new wants to try this in 7 years for some reason.
Would be awesome with crudo.
It’s one of those wines that is an incredibly great version of what it’s supposed to be.

Tastes and smells pineapple-y. A tad dry. Delicious. — 8 years ago
A massive bottle of wine! — 10 years ago
Unusual grenache. Very light transparent color. Peppery and minerality galore. Tight and acid driven for food. — 10 years ago
Far beyond expectations, very powerful chianti, extremely intensive bouquet, long aftertaste. Very pleasant and balanced acidity. If you are not a fan of rich reds, avoid this. Otherwise, cheers! 🍷🍷 — 7 years ago

Soft. My comparison with the Chilean carmenere is prob unfair given this is 30% Merlot. But it still has that distinctive carmenere taste. Nice fruit. Soft sandy tannins. The Merlot softens this. Very nice wine. — 4 months ago
