Far beyond expectations, very powerful chianti, extremely intensive bouquet, long aftertaste. Very pleasant and balanced acidity. If you are not a fan of rich reds, avoid this. Otherwise, cheers! 🍷🍷

What a nice surprise to find in my 'collection' annoyingly I don't recall from where it came or what I paid for it. It is a very acceptable Chianti, which was rarely said (outside of Italy)!30 years ago. Robust, mature colour with a complex mix of fruit, and spice that lingers. Ideal with steak or with a strong pasta dish. I don't normally buy Chianti but I would this one, if I could remember where...
