I've liked La Tunella wines a lot and when this popped up from the back of the wine cabinet decided to try. From 2015 so a riper wintage and bit of age. That shows in the lower acidity and mellowed mouthfeel that lacks bit of the thrill and minerality from the best years. Nose remains floral and hints of lime where the palate turns more towards riper pear, white currant and lemon. Good wine if already close to start it's decline so drink off if you have some — 10 days ago
Perfumey wine, delicious. Mineral notes, full body, delicate pear, lingering. I like it very cold, when first poured from the fridge. — 11 days ago
Opened several hours prior to dinner; likely not enough time. The nose is inimitably Italian with some indescribable dark fruits trying to peer past the earth and tobacco for which this wine has both in huge abundance. On the palate, the fruit is restrained and again, loads of earth, herbs and tobacco. The structure is a bit imposing at this point but certainly enjoyable. I’ll just be patient with my remaining two bottles. — 7 days ago
This red from Colli Orientali del Friuli is spicy and fresh, with aromas of crushed wild berry and cherry lifted by notes of sage and white smoke. Soft and fleshy, it shows lovely purity with balanced acids that enliven its ripe red fruits, and a very pretty finish. $21.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, December 2020) — 23 days ago
Прекрасный шоколадно-черносливовый аромат, на вкус очень приятное, мало сладости, плотное и кислотное, сухое и насыщенное. Очень достойное. — 11 days ago
I asked for a cozy, wintry, fireplace kind of wine with earthy, smoky, peppery, and meaty notes, and that’s what I got! Dark cherry, black plum, finocchiona salami, black pepper, cumin, leather, tobacco smoke, fresh earth, wet clay, Chinese five spice, sanguine minerality. Vibrant acidity and well-integrated tannins; beautifully balanced. Somehow both rustic and polished. Enjoyed on the last night of the worst year in history. — 20 days ago

Nice and crisp, not buttery at all. — a month ago
