The 2015 Côte-de-Brouilly from Nicole Chanrion is a delicious, ten year old Beaujolais Cru that delivers
good structure, excellent balance, surprising depth and a large amount of pure, primary fruit. Nothing else is needed. — 19 days ago
There’s village Burgundy and then there’s Roumier Chambolle-Musigny! 2016 is in a perfect spot, ushering in secondary complexity at age nine in a captivating perfume synonymous with the Domaine, and a structured, but silky mineral inflicted palate with fine grained tannins. Roumier always hits 🫰🏻 — a day ago
Great bottle! No 🐞 problem with this one. Quite complex and in a very good way right now. — 17 days ago
The 1999 Clos de la Roche VV pours a slightly hazy ruby color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with gorgeous notes of ripe red and black fruits: raspberry, bruised strawberry, black cherry, dried red flowers, licorice, mushroom, sous bois, all spice. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and dripping with complexity. During the first couple hours, this was pretty locked up and willing to share its secrets. Towards the end of the night, this ended up being one of the wines what really started to pour it on. My favorite pairing with the boeuf Bourguignon. Drink now with some patience but better after 2029 and through 2049 with ease. — a month ago

Cherry confit nose with balsamic violets. Soy attack. Some energy and firm tannin (from oak?). Beautiful finish. — 2 days ago
