Black cherry, raspberry and plum fruit, with fig, cocoa, tea and mandarin orange notes. — 8 months ago
Garnet colored with long legs. Aromas of cherry and anise. Dry and a tad acidic, with a nice mouth puckering finish. This is my kind of red wine! — 2 years ago
Rich style of Cab Franc. Light on the vegetal notes. Holding up strong! — 5 years ago
Great bang for the buck! Whiffs of Great Grandma's sofa and a smooth plumby finish. Very easy to drink without being too light. Just might become part of the weekly rotation! — 6 years ago

Russell Bevan will be joining with Middleton partners on a joint project. No longer will we see this wine. Enjoy while you can. — 5 months ago
This is some great Alexander Valley Chard;
Aromatic, both rounded and sharp on the palette, crisp but fruity acid and a decent finish. I think it could age well - become more rounded while retaining that acid and improve on the finish. — 2 years ago
My favorite red of the day. Super chocolate-y. Dark cassis, maybe some coffee notes too. — 4 years ago
One of my absolute favorites. Ripe fruits with a hint of spice and a structured finish. On the liter side for a petite Syrah, almost refreshing. A great wine to share, as it is very easy to drink. Let it sit 30 min before drinking. — 5 years ago
I love this property and it's bang for the buck, and the 2014 is drinking at peak. Densely packed with dark fruit and gravel/iron/mineral, with a cedar note on the finish, as well as some smoky spice. Just a very well balanced wine, it's got heft and packs a punch, but never crosses the line to heavy and/or cumbersome. Great both on its own or with food. — 6 years ago
Buttery, full bodied, smooth — 3 months ago
Love! You can taste the bourbon barrel. Smells so good. Long legs, ripe red berries, smoky bourbon barrels. — 3 years ago
Brian Brakesman winemaker. Supple and smooth, slight vanilla, lush blackberry, subtle spice from old-vine Zin. Perfection to drink 2016 in 20121. — 5 years ago
Great nose and color. At almost 5 years old features smoothed Tannins. Dry but not overly so. Nicely done. August 2020. — 6 years ago

2023 vintage. The epitome of Willamette Valley Pinots, earthy floral aromas on the nose, robust berry flavors on the palette, medium bodied structure, velvety smooth finish with a slight hint of spice on the tail. Under $45, very enjoyable, great pairing with pasta. — a month ago
